Em’s playful art practice lays the foundation for a distinct style in her client work.

Ever the rebel, Em challenges her own sense of perfectionism by leaning into the weird and nonsensical. Misshapen animals, unlikely color combos and disruptive textures are her bread and butter (mmm butter). Her creative tools include (but are not limited to): stubby colored pencils, well-loved paint tubes, smeary pastels and a trusty apple pencil. When Em isn’t illustrating (a rare occasion), she’s cuddling her cat Meemoo, riding her bike around the neighborhood and tinkering in the garden.
